1.  LOUIS EDWARD1 SOUILLIARD was born January 01, 1815 in Alsace-Lorriane, France, and died May 23, 1897 in Lebannon, Pa.  He married LOUISA FRAULINGER 1835 in Prussia.  She was born June 10, 1815 in Prussia, and died May 15, 1888 in Lebannon, Pa.

It is said the first 6 children were born in Prussia, the 7th child was born on the boat as they came to the USA, and the rest born in Pa.
Louis was also a forgeman in france.
Louis made several trips back and forth across the ocean bringing both family and belongings. he spent a total of 72 weeks on the ocean.

Louis Soulliard, aged 82 years, died Sunday at his home, 139 Mifflin St. of dropsy, after a lingering illness.
He was born in France, and came to this country as a forgeman.
These children survive: Louis, Frederick, Joseph, John, James, Aaron and Charles Soulliard and Mrs. Sabilla Stauter, of Altoona.
Services were held at St. mary's Catholic Church by Rev. Father Adam Christ.
Note: He is buried, along with his wife Louisa and two sons, Frederick and Francis, in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in lot #136 of area M.

!850 census shows a Louisa Fillinger, aged 64, living with Louis and family. I'm of the notion that Louisa Fraulinger and this are the same. The name on the death cert of the children may be the only wife.

Fred Soulliard instantly killed watchman is run down by P&R shifter.
He was employed as watchman for many years-had both legs cut off.
Frederick Soulliard of 367 North 12th St. (must still have been living with brother) was almost instantly killed this afternoon at his post of duty at the 12th street crossing.
He also had an accident that was nearly fatal last Nov. and it's believed the shock affected his hearing.
He was aged 62 years and is survived by 7 brothers; Joseph and Charles, of this city; Aaron of Lykens, george of fredericksburg, John of Steelton, James of Chicago, and Louis of Coatesville.
Services were held by Rev. W.E. Stahler of Zion Lutheran Church.
He is buried in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in lot#136 of area M.

Served in the Civil war, enlisted March 29, 1865 in Pa, Rank: Private. Union Army.

Mr. Francis Soulliard, a brakeman on the gravel train of the Lebanon Valley Branch of the philadelphia and reading Railroad had his leg crushed between the cars near the Union Canal Feeder, on thrusday two weeks ago. The leg was amputated and he died from the effects yesterday.

We were misinformed yesterday as to the cause of death.... A second amputation was not needed nor was it performed. The cause of death was due to internal injuries from which he suffered intense pain.
Burial was at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Services were at Salem Lutheran Church.

Rev. A. H. Soulliard, a native of Lebanon, and for a number of years Pastor of the First Baptist Church, 3rd and walnut Sts. died on Saturday night at his home in Minersville, Schuykill County.
It has been learned that while the minister was afflicted with heart trouble, his death was attributed by the attending physicians to brain fever.
The deceased was the 10th member of a family of 12 to pass on.
Services to be held at the Baptist Church of Minersville, where he was pastor.
Burial was at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
He was a member of the Lykens Lodge of Moose and the Lykens castle of the Knights of Golden Eagle.
Besides his brother Charles of this city and John of Harrisburg, he is survived by a wife (no name given), and a daughter, Mrs. Amesbury of Minersville.

He was a native of Lebanon. He entered the ministry quite young and had charge of several churches in Lebanon and Schuylkill counties before his appointment as rector of the English Baptist Church at Minersville 4 years ago.

Louis Soulliard, a well known citzen of Jonestown, died on friday, at his home in the 80th year of his age. Since the death of his wife 10 years ago, he resided with his son, Lewis E. Soulliard.

He was a member of United Brethren Church. He leaves the following children;

Chas. Soulliard passes away at his home today.One of Lebanon's veteran retired railroaders, and one of the best known of that clan. He died at his home at 1135 Chestnut St.. He would have 74 years old tomorrow.
He was born and reared in Lickdale, Pa. In 1886 he had his arm amputated due to an accident while coupling cars at the old time Light's rolling mill, near West Lebanon.
He was amember of Zion Luthern Church, The Perseverance Fire Co., Camp No. 254, Patriotic Sons of America, Lebanon Lodge of Moose, and the Fireman's Aid.
Besides his wife, Jennie M. McCaully, he leaves a son Roy D. of this city, and 2 brothers; John of Harrisburg, and James of Chicago.
Burial was at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.

Dies in a work mishap. He was brakeman for the railroad, the Philadelphia and reading Railroad Co., in Coatesville, Pa., and was killed (disembowed) on the job. His wife had a free railway pass for life due to the accident. She also had a high school education and worked her way up several companies while caring for her children.
