| The McAlpine line begins with James McAlpine who married Jean Rennie in 1789. Their son james McAlpine married Margaret Mills in 1817. Their daughter Ann married Hugh Kerr in 1847. I have alot of info, both from the USA and Australia on this line. |

| The Kerr lines begins with Hugh Kerr who married Margaret Hutton in 1818. Their son Hugh married Ann McAlpine in 1847. Their son James married Margaret Spence abt 1880. Their daughter Emily married George Burnett in 1925. I have some lines of this Kerr family. |
