Stoney Crest Mennonite Cemetery was established c. 1930, by a group of
Mennonites living in the area of private land.
In 1976 Mrs. Anne Wiebe, was instrumental in collecting a list of names
of people buried in this cemetery. On the 12th of July 1976, Dan Bueckert
of Saskatoon, George Krahn of Saskatoon, Jacob Penner of Saskatoon, Ed
Lehn Of Sonningdale, and Peter Wiebe of Struan/Sonningdale gathered at
the cemetery to clean up the brush and try to identify the graves that
were there.
At this time a cemetery plot map was made of the cemetery. A copy was
deposited with the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society in Regina.
A memorial has been erected in memory of:
Father Jacob Lehn
