Editor's Comments About Entry:
It is interesting to note that they intended to go on this boat, but then something made them cancel their trip. They ended up taking the same boat later the same year, but they had to pay more money for the trip.

Editor's Comments About Entry:
It is interesting to note that they intended to go on this same boat earlier in the same year, but something made them cancel their trip. So, they waited for this boat and ended up paying more for their passage.
I do not know who Wm A Clark is. The name was hard to read and it could have been "Mr. A. Clark." He was listed in the same group as the Fentons, and his fare was summed in their totals, but it could have been that he was from Nottingham so they lumped him in with them.
There is A William A. Clark found on the 1880 US Census living in Ogden, Utah. I am not sure that this is the same one, but the ages match up perfectly.
