Luggage 12. lodgings and water S/3 besides vittles so you see it will cost a deal but we will start right right with the Blessings of the Lord. You must pray for us that our faith fail not. i feel in good spirits and i hope we shall soon be going we had to stop at Redford 2 hours and at Manchenter 2 so you see Monday would be too late. we was looking for our luggage at the office all day Sunday we was looking about 4 hours for the meeting house so we have seen a little about Liverpool. James and John sends their love to you all and they are in first rate spirits we have musick and dancing and singing so i have not time to say more at present for the ship sails today out of the harbour. we have our own lamps the ship does not rock yet. 10 oclock we had breakfast no dinner for we had to get our things on board and to mind the sharks i shall send more particklers for when i write a line some one runs past so no more at present give my love to the Bro. and Sisters.

Editor's Comments About Entry:
One strange thing about the letter is that from first glance it appears to be from a couple "James and Mary Warner" but James' wife Susannah Fox (ID#340) died in 1826, so James was single at this time. The Mary Warner I assume is the daughter of James Constable Warner and Susannah Fox, the Mary Warner (ID#346) born in 1846. This is made more apparent by the way the letter is signed at the bottom, "Mary and James Warner & John Kettle," making more distinction between Mary and James by putting her name first.
Two of James' sons are mentioned "James and John sends their love." I assume these boys to be John Warner (ID#342) and James Warner (ID#344).
Again, I have preserved the spelling, and grammar as it was in the original letter.
