Editor's Comments About Entry:
     I visited the Spanish Fork City Cemetary on April 5, 1992. The "Stephen Markham Family Burial Plot" is located just inside the North entrance of the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, Spanish Fork, Utah, USA. All of the headstones lay flush with the ground, except for an eight foot tall rock marker that designates the plot as that of the Markhams. There are four inscriptions on the tall marker, one for MARKHAM, Stephen, CURTIS, Mary, MARKHAM, Caroline Louise, and Lydia McComber. The marker, however, simply designates the area as the "Stephen Markham Family Burial Plot". These four people are actually buried about twenty feet to the southwest of the marker.
     The Bona's, Elias Jones Bona and Clarissa Maretta Markham Bona (ID#126) are in the block just to the East of the Stephen Markham Family Burial Plot. To find them, cross the road to the East and go to the North East corner of the block.

Editor's Comments About Entry:
     I visited the Spanish Fork City Cemetery on November 16, 1996 and found William Don Carlos Markham's burial plot. It resides in the South East section of the cemetery. To locate it enter through the North gate and travel to the middle of the cemetery. There is a road running up the middle of the cemetery East and West. Turn left on that road and go as far East as you can. When the road ends the graves will be in the section of lawn just South of the road. William Don Carlos Markham's (ID#83) and Sarah Ann Warner's (ID#82) headstone was a double stone, and Effie Markham's (ID#91) was a single stone just to the North. The Hamblin family is just to the East of the other two, and they are Claudius Hugh Hamblin and Ora Christine Markham (ID#100). Vernecia Markham (ID#102) and her husband Francis Eugene Beck are located more toward the middle of the same section of lawn as William Don Carlos Markham. To find them just walk almost due South from William Don Carlos about 30 yards or so.
