Lane, 70, 117 Fountainview Drive, LaFontaine, died at 7:54 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at Parkview Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1930, in Dickison County, Va., to Arthur Sr. and Erma (Kaiser) Salyer. She married H.B. Lane on July 5, 1950. He survives. She graduated from Ervington High School in 1948. Formerly of Wabash, she was employed at General Tire for 30 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Peru Church of Christ. Also surviving are a son, Ed (Diane) Lane, Milmine, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Todd (Karen) Volk, North Manchester a brother, Arthur (Maggie) Salyer Jr., Coeburn, Va.; a sister, Mrs. R.E. (Audrey) Stallard, Wise, Va.; and seven grandchildren. One granddaughter is deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home Eddingfield Chapel. David Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Mississinewa Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.".

He was born on Jan. 20, 1930, in Etzel, W.Va., to Ben and Rose (Justice) Moore. He married Nora J. Mann on April 19, 1975. She survives. He had been a Wabash resident since 1954, and was employed at Container Corporation for 31 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church. Also surviving are six sons; five daughters, including Casie Leeann Moore, at home; one brother; three sisters; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home Eddingfield Chapel. Pastor Steve Parks and the Rev. James Mertz will officiate. Lane, 54, 1500 Stitt St., died at 6:57 p.m., Tuesday, Feb 27, 2001, at Indiana University Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 22, 1946, in Wabash, to Josef and Erma (Haas) Sele. She was employed at Wabash Magnetics for 25 years, and had been a licensed practical nurse at Wabash County Hospital for the past 15 years. A lifelong Wabash resident, she graduated from Wabash High School. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Women of the Moose and the Eagles Lodge, both of Wabash. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. David (Cynthia) Ault, Greenwood, Mrs. Christopher (Christine) McLean and Mikki Stefanatos, both of Wabash; one sister, Mrs. Jeff (Elizabeth) Jeffrey, Florence, Ky.; and eight grandchildren. One sister is deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the McDonald Funeral Home Eddingfield Chapel. The Rev. Timothy Wrozek will officiate. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
