Funeral services were held Monday, March 6, at his home. Burial followed in the family cemetery near Auxier. Rev. Griffith, of Prestonsburg, was in charge of the services. Mr. Honeycutt was an employee of the North-East Coal Company, having served the company for 25 years as blacksmith. He is survived by his widow and a number of children. Surviving are his widow, Alice Blackburn Webb, one step-son, two sisters, Mrs. Burns Conley and Mrs. Frank Blair, and one brother, Bosier, Odds, Ky. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church at West Van Lear Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. S. C. Honeycutt of Auxier officiating. Burial was in the Goble Cemetery on Johns Creek. "WILLIAM MADISON WEBB William Madison Webb , 87. of Greenup, a retired school teacher, attorney and former state representative, died ay 7:57 p.m. Saturday, Mar.12 1960 at the home of a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Anna Wenn, of Itonton,Ohio. He was a brother of Melvin Webb of this city. Born October 6 1872, in this county, Mr Webb was the son of the late William and Jane Honeycutt Webb. He was a member of the Greenup County Bar Association. His first wife, Mrs. Emma Porter Webb, and a son, Marshall Lawrence Webb, preceded him in death. Besides his brother he is survived by his widow, Mrs.Pearl Burton Webb of Greenup; four sons, Calhoun Webb of Baltimore; August and Robert Webb of Columbus and Benjamin Webb of Cleveland; four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Marcum and Miss Mary Webb of Portsmouth, Ohio; Mrs. Elphia Brewer of Newport News, Va.; and Mrs, Elma Hilgemam of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Laura Phelps of Elk City, Olka.; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Leonard Webb, Grover Fannin and Spurgeon Honeycutt as officiating ministers. Burial was in the Club House Cemetery at Van Lear.".
