the Downs Clan

Memoires of this family were recorded in the "Moravian Diaries" of the early 1800's writen by one Lavinia Downs of the Muscogee Creek Indian Nation.   The ladder generations were kept in a Family History Book called "The Limbs and Leaves of the Payne and Downs Family".  Before the colonial voyages to the new world of the America's, it is unknown to the writer of this lineage whether this Downs lineage came out of Ireland or England Directly.
