• Advertised in the New Hampshire Gazette and Portsmouth Oracle (Portsmouth NH), 1803-1824, with many ads referring to a long list of gold and silver articles for sale. Also noted various address changes and the need for an apprentice to the goldsmith's trade. ³

• He worked about 1803 as a silversmith in Portsmouth NH with William Simes ⁴
