General notes: Silversmith Events in his life were:
• Alternate Mark • Apprenticed about 1807 to Jabez Baldwin in Salem MA • He worked from 1824 to 1844 as a gold- and silversmith, jeweler, and watchmaker in Providence RI listed in Providence Directory with a shop at 44 Cheapside offering ". . . jewellry, gold and silver watches . . . gold beads and silver spoons. . ." 4 • He was a partner from 1847 to 1865 with George Baker Goodhue in Providence RI as D. T. GOODHUE & SON with listings in New England Mercantile Union and New England Buisness directories. 4 Daniel married Mary Hale on 28 Dec 1819 in Providence RI. (Mary Hale was born on 16 Aug 1799 in Newbury MA.) |
