• He was a partner from 1816 to 1818 with Richard Ward in Boston MA as JONES & WARD. ⁴

• He worked from 1818 to 1822 as a silversmith in Boston MA with shop at 10½ Union Street until 1818 when he is listed on Temple. ⁴

John married Mary Belknap on 15 Apr 1779 in Framingham MA. (Mary Belknap was born on 9 Oct 1761 in Framingham MA and died on 13 Jul 1798 in Framingham MA.)
