    It has been speculated that this punch was intentionally cut down and used by Cornelius A. Burr after his brother's death.
  • He worked from 1827 to 1832 as a silversmith in Rochester NY with a shop at the corner of Buffalo and State Street. During the cholera epidemic of 1832, he volunteered as a nurse and fell victim to the disease. 18
