• He worked from circa 1815 to 1836 as a silversmith and jeweler in Providence RI listed in directories in 1824, 1826, 1828, and 1836 with a shop on Clemence Street. ³

• Providence RI, 1818: he was one of the organizers of the First Light Infantry of Providence, along with fellow silversmiths Stanton Beebe, Pardon Miller, Samuel Davis, and Samuel Taber. ³
