  Events in his life were:

• Advertised in the Massachusetts Spy, 22 Dec 1791,
NATHAN HALE, Clock-Maker and Goldsmith, Begs leave to inform the publick, that, at his shop, near the meeting house in Rindge, persons may be supplied, on short notice, with warranted Clocks of the best kind, either with or without cases. Also Gold and Silversmith's work, of various kinds, made and repaired--as Gold Necklaces--Silver or plated Buckles, may be made to any pattern, &c. &c. Customers may depend on being served with honour and fidelity. Cash given for old Gold, Silver and Brass. ¹³

• He worked from 1796 to 1807 as a silversmith and watchmaker in Windsor VT where he also ran the town hotel for many years.

• Advertised in the Vermont Journal (Windsor VT), 7 Jan 1796, that he had commenced business in the town of Windsor, a little south of the coffee house. He identified himself as a clockmaker offering warranted eight-day clocks which he sold as cheap as could be purchased in the county. He also repaired clocks and gave cash for old brass. ¹³

Nathan married Eunice Raymond on 14 Aug 1793 in Rindge NH. (Eunice Raymond was born about 1775 in Rindge NH and died on 27 Nov 1794.)
