A note on the advertisers stated: "one of the finest appointed jewelry stores in Vermont where customers could find any grade of goods desired from the finest diamonds to the cheapest varieties of standard goods." ¹³

• He appeared on the 1880 census taken at Saint Albans VT, listed without occupation, living with his father.
