- Apprenticed in 1569 to John Hull in Boston MA 1
Served apprenticeship with Jeremiah Dummer according to to John Hull's diary.
- Refered to as a goldsmith in a deed of 20 Oct 1668 to Capt. William Davis (Merchant). Apparently he was not interested in a career as a silversmith, as Hull wrote him in 1681 indicating he might have been as successful as his colleague, "Jeremine Dummer," had he remained and followed his calling. 3
