General notes: Silversmith Events in his life were: • He was a goldsmith and lived in Boston and Cohasset. At the time of the great Boston fire, 20 March 1760, he was located on Mackerel Lane and lost personal goods valued at £32/5/4. The Suffolk Registry of Deeds has a record that John Doane of Eastham bought land and houses on School Street from the heirs of Samuel Haugh, goldsmith. 3 • Master to Gideon Myrick abt 1749 in Boston MA. 8 • Obituary printed in the Boston Weekly News-Letter (Boston MA) on 13 Aug 1767 3 |
