• He worked from circa 1750 to 1780 as a silversmith in New Haven CT from shop located on the south side of George Street. ³

• Advertised in the Connecticut Courant (New Haven CT), 7 Feb 1767, in conjunction with Hezekiah Silliman and Richard Cutler: ". . . Goldsmiths and Jewelers in New Haven. Hereby beg to inform the public that at their respective shops in New Haven they severally continue to do all sorts of Gold and Silver Work." ³

Ambrose married Sarah Chamberlain on 27 Nov 1760. (Sarah Chamberlain was born on 17 Dec 1735 in Northfield Middlesex MA and died on 13 Jun 1785.)
