Similar ads ran 25 Nov 1809, 23 June 1810, and 19 Oct 1811. 3 • Advertised in the Newport Daily News (Newport RI), 20 Aug 1857, as a silversmith with a shop at 94 Thames. • Advertised in the The Handbook of Newport and Rhode Island, 1852, as a "Manufacturer and Dealer in Standard Silverware, Jewelry, Plated Britannia and Japanned Ware" William married Elizabeth Pitman on 1 Apr 1815 in Newport RI.
