General notes: Silversmith Events in his life were:
• Alternate Mark • Apprenticed from about 1797 to 1801 to Stephen Emery in Boston MA 1 • He worked from 1802 to 1815 as a silversmith in Boston MA with shop located at 32 Ann Street by 1813. He was listed as member of the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association in 1806. His estate was appraised by Jesse Churchill and Joseph Foster. 3 • Advertised in the Independent Chronicle (Boston MA), 25 Jan 1802, Thomas K. Emery, working silver smith, solicits the patronage of the customers of his deceased father. Shop opposite the Rev. Dr. Lathrop's meeting house."
• Creamer and sugar bowl, 1807 Thomas married Mary Adams Parker on 6 Jul 1806 in Boston MA. (Mary Adams Parker was born about 1786 in Boston MA.) |
