  Events in his life were:

• Apprenticed from about 1658 to 1663 to Robert Sanderson in Boston MA ¹

• He worked from circa 1663 to 1666 as a silversmith in Boston MA
No work by his hand is known to survive, though outstanding oders for silver at the time of his death and the number of tools in the shop inventory (conducted by Jeremiah Dummer and Samuel Paddy) indicate that he was active in the trade. ⁷
