  • Advertised in the Boston Gazette (Boston MA), 6 Nov 1758, that his shop had been broken into and a number of items, including some silver objects, stolen. Goldsmiths and others desired to "stop" same if offered for sale. 3
  • Norwich CT, 1772: where he also operated Peck Tavern on Town Green. One of the signers of the Norwich charter. He was an ardent patriot, and the "thunder of the cannon in front of his tavern" in 1784, when peace was proclaimed, has been noted in town histories. Moved to New London where he died. 3
