• Advertised in the Bangor Daily Whig and Courier (Bangor ME), 18 May 1861, as part of a group endorsement of the Waltham Watch Company.

• Beginning in 1862 portions of the Rogers brothers' enterprises became part of the MERIDEN BRITANNIA CO. which executives were active in the formation in 1898 of INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. of Meriden, Connecticut. William Rogers was connected with the former company until his death in 1873, as were his brothers, Asa and Simeon. 3
