• Apprenticed about 1815 to Jacob Kimball in Montpelier VT

• He worked c 1820 as a silversmith and watchmaker in Saint Albans VT where he established a prosperous shop. He also worked in Warner and Concord NH.

• Master to Horace Eaton 1824 in Saint Albans VT.
