General notes: Silversmith Events in his life were: • He worked from circa 1820 to 1848 as a silversmith in New York City NY specializing in thimbles and small novelties, with a shop on Frankfort Street. • He worked after 1848 as a silversmith in Longmeadow MA where he continued making thimbles and spectacles, as well as establishing several button factories. Dimond married Laurinda Colton, daughter of Luther Colton, on 29 Oct 1823 in Longmeadow MA. (Laurinda Colton was born on 4 Oct 1802 in Longmeadow MA and died on 21 Oct 1876.) |
