  General notes:

Silversmith

  Events in his life were:

  • Apprenticed about 1765 to Paul Revere in Boston MA 1
In 1772, Revere had to sue Moseley's guardian, a shipmaster, for enticing the youth away. Revere was later appointed his guardian after his profligacy, which probably accounts for his early demise.
  • He worked from circa 1775 to 1812 as a silversmith in Boston MA listed as a silversmith in 1796 city directory, as a goldsmith in 1798, and again as a silversmith from 1800-1810 with a shop in Frog Lane. 3
