• He worked from 1822 to 1855 as a silversmith and jeweler in Salem MA
Beginning in a shop four doors east of the Sun Tavern in 1822, he moved to new quarters four doors east of St. Peter Street by 29 October 1830 and finally to 162 Essex Street in 1837. ^3,4
