General notes: Silversmith Events in his life were: • Apprenticed in 1768 to Abel Buell in Killingworth CT 3 • He worked from 1782 to 1796 as a silversmith in Litchfield CT 3 • He worked from 1782 to 1796 as a silversmith in Litchfield CT 3 • He was a partner from 1796 to 1805 with Isaac Thompson in Litchfield CT as SHETHAR & THOMPSON. Originally the firm was at "the Red Shop located few rods west of the meeting house." 3
