As a wool cardmaker, moving with his master to Pomfret, Connecticut in 1781. 1 • He worked from 1791 to 1820 as a silversmith and clockmaker in Concord NH 3 • Advertised in the Concord Herald, Courier of New Hampshire and Concord Observer (Concord NH), 1791-1848, noting business in gold and silver, a fire in his shop, new buildings, and lists of items for sale. 3 • Appointed after 1791 as Sealer of Weights and Measures in Concord NH 3 • Appointed after 1791 as Surveyor of Highways in Concord NH 3 • Appointed after 1791 as Director of New Hampshire Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Concord NH 3
