• Apprenticed about 1815 to Barzillai Benjamin in Bridgeport CT ¹

• Advertised in the The Connecticut Journal, 9 Nov 1819, his shop ". . . a few rods south of public green, opposite J. Buck's Hotel." ³

• Advertised in the The Connecticut Journal, 26 May 1821, announcing move to No 3 Glebe Building. ³

• He later became a teacher at a girls academy. ³
