  Events in his life were:

• Though he spent all his working career in London, it appears that he arrived there already trained as a silversmith. If so, his masters must have been John Hull and Robert Sanderson. That said, it is worth noting that no mark has been possitively attributed to him; he may have been a "goldsmith/banker" rather than a working silversmith. ⁷
