  Events in his life were:

• Apprenticed in 1809 to Luther Goddard in Shrewsbury MA ¹

• Advertised in the Massachusetts Spy (Worcester MA), 21 May 1817, with his brother, Parley Goddard. They built the first brick block in Worcester in 1823. It became known as "Goddard's Row" and is still standing on Main Street between Thomas and School Streets. ³

• He was a partner before 1817 with Luther Goddard in Shrewsbury MA ³

• Master to Benjamin Goddard abt 1826 in Worcester MA.

• He was a partner from circa 1830 to 1842 with Perley Goddard in Worcester MA as P. & D. GODDARD. ³

• Master to Simeon N. Story 1831-1838 in Worcester MA.

• He was a partner c 1845 with Luther D. Goddard in Worcester MA as D. GODDARD & SON.

• He appeared on the 1880 census taken at Worcester MA, listed as a retired watchmaker.

Daniel married Sarah Whitney on 14 Sep 1820 in Worcester MA. (Sarah Whitney was born on 13 Jun 1800 in Worcester MA and died on 21 Aug 1888.)
