General notes: Jeweler and silverplater Events in his life were: • Working:He was a jeweler and in 1876 became interested in the electro plating business. He plied this business as VERNAY & LINCOLN which was very successful for 12 years at which time the business was sold. He and Mr. Vernay then went into business with the C. A. Wetherell & Company. He disposed of his interests in the company in 1890 and removed to Springfield, MA to take a special course in the school for christian workers. • He appeared on the 1880 census taken at Attleboro MA, listed as a silverplater. |
