• He worked from 1812 to 1826 as a silversmith in Concord NH from shop on Franklin Street. ³

• He was a partner from 1826 to 1832 with Seth Eastman in Concord NH as ROBERT DAVIS & Co. ³

• Concord NH: held many important local positions including Selectman, Town Moderator, and Postmaster. Served on the committee to greet Lafayette in 1825 and Andrew Jackson in 1833. ³

Robert married Elizabeth Tapley Hall in Concord NH.
