  Events in his life were:

• Moved with his family to Bermuda 1705/6, and returned with them to Boston about 1714. Moved to Charleston, South Carolina about 1732. Referred to as merchant in Charleston. His inventory showed him to be a man of considerable means. ³

• Apprenticed to Thomas Savage, abt 1712. ¹

• He worked from circa 1720 to 1732 as a silversmith in Boston MA ³

• He worked after 1732 as a silversmith in Charleston SC ³
