• Apprenticed about 1790 to Josiah Wheelock in Sutton MA

• He worked from circa 1797 to 1800 as a silversmith in New Haven CT ¹¹

• He was a partner from 1801 to 1806 with Clark Sibley in New Haven CT as SIBLEY & MARBLE with shop situated on Church Street next north of Trinity Church. ¹¹

• He worked from 1806 to 1822 as a silversmith in New Haven CT
He appears to have continued to use the SIBLEY & MARBLE mark of his old partnership for some time after its dissolution. He was also a seller of gold and silver wares by other makers and also worked as a dentist. ¹¹

Simeon married Susanna Bishop on 12 Jan 1797 in New Milford CT. (Susanna Bishop was born on 7 Jan 1784 in New Haven CT, died on 22 Jun 1861 in Wilmington DE and was buried after 22 Jun 1861.)
