  Events in his life were:

• He worked from circa 1760 to 1780 as a silversmith in Providence RI ³

• Advertised in the Providence Gazette (Providence RI), 26 Sep 1772, that ". . . the shop of Mr. Elias Calender [sic], Goldsmith, was broke open, and robbed of sundry small articles." ³

Elias married Mary Lawrence about 1760 in Newport RI. (Mary Lawrence was born on 10 Apr 1737 in Newport RI and died on 11 Oct 1815 in Newport RI.)
