General notes: Silversmith and jeweler Events in his life were:

• Alternate Mark • Providence RI, 1818: he was one of the organizers of the First Light Infantry of Providence, along with fellow silversmiths Stanton Beebe, Samuel Taber, Samuel Davis, and Jonathan Nichols. 3 • He worked from 1822 to 1850 as a silversmith and watchmaker in Providence RI • Advertised in the Providence Gazette (Providence RI), 25 May 1822, offering from his shop at 16 Cheapside ". . . spectacles, thermometers, English and French watches, chairs, silver spoons, and beads in gold or silver." 3 Pardon married Anna Eizabeth Martin on 1 Jan 1821 in Providence RI. (Anna Eizabeth Martin was born in 1800 in Providence RI and died on 8 Feb 1833 in Providence RI.) |
