• Wilmington DE, 14 Jan 1789: disowned by the Quaker Church for fornication and false accusations of fornication against two other males.
  

• He worked from 1795 to 1820 as a silversmith in Well’s Valley PA joining his father who had moved there in 1790. Inherited his father's tools in 1817. ⁴

• Advertised in the Washington Spy (Hagerstown MD), 26 May 1795, offering teapots, sugar and cream urns, spoons, and engraving. ⁴
