- He worked from 1795 to 1820 as a silversmith in Wells Valley PA joining his father who had moved there in 1790. Inherited his father's tools in 1817. 4
- Advertised in the Washington Spy (Hagerstown MD), 26 May 1795, offering teapots, sugar and cream urns, spoons, and engraving. 4
