What is the SCAMMAHORN Family Discussion List?
The list (created by RootsWeb in 2000; adopted by Nancy Cluff Siders on 1 April 2005) is intended as a discussion area for anyone who has an interest in genealogy related to the SCAMMAHORN family and SCAMMAHORN descendants and any surnames derived from SCAMMAHORN .Derivatives of the SCAMMAHORN surname may include SKIMMYHORN, SCEMEHORN, SCHEMEHORN, SCAMAHORN, SCHAMEHORN, or other derivatives.
Discussion of SCAMMAHORN and the variations in all locations of the United States is certainly welcomed and encouraged. More than likely all these derivatives originally where a form of SCHERMERHORN from Switzerland, the assumed nation of ancestry.
