Pages 670671. Lists Mehitable MACOY (MCCOY) as the second wife of Samuel BUCK. They were married 1 Jul 1762 and had two children: Falley BUCK b. 25 Oct 1767 and Daniel BUCK b. 14 Aug 1769 [date was 41 prob. 14 or 31]. NOTES:  Comments from Blanche McKay:  Indicates that Terry Flynn has information that there was an Asahel BUCK married to a Mehitable. This family was at the Wyoming Massacre and Asahel and some others of his family were killed there. Could this be our Mehitable??  Jack Mitchell a descendant of the Samuel BUCK family is working to find information on Mehitabels death and burial (mitchell@pathcom.com).  Samuel BUCK and Mehitable McKAY went to Ontario in 1788. They were both said to be loyalists.  Mehitable McKAY is listed as a Loyalist in the U.E.R register  Comments from Jack Mitchell:  Mehitable McKAY and Samuel BUCK married in 1762 and had 3 children  Moved to Canada as Loyalists  settled first in Sorel, Quebec  Samuel BUCK was killed in a skirmish while serving in the militia in Sorel, Quebec  The family settled in South Mountain, Ontario 40 miles south of Ottawa, Ontario.  Jack's connection: Asenath BUCK eldest daughter of Samuel BUCK and Mehitable McKAY married Joh BALDWIN of South Mountain in 1801.
