4. Alexander⁴ Ritchie (Samuel Alexander³, Samuel Alexander², James¹) was born in Abbyville South Carolina 12 Aug. 1808.

He married Mary Wilson Ritchie. Mary was born 12 Sept. 1802. At 9 years of age Mary became the mother of John Ritchie in Hammonds Gap Perry Co. Ky, 1812.

At 3 years of age Alexander became the father of John Ritchie in Hammonds Gap Perry Co. Ky, 1812.

Alexander Ritchie and Mary Wilson Ritchie had the following child:
