5. John⁵ Ritchie (Alexander⁴, Samuel Alexander³, Samuel Alexander², James¹) was born in Hammonds Gap Perry Co. Ky 1812. John died 1970 - 1880 in Died Between 1870-1880.

He married Silva Sizemore Ritchie. Silva became the mother of Edward Ritchie in Clear Creek KY., 10 June 1851.

At 38 years of age John became the father of Edward Ritchie in Clear Creek KY., 10 June 1851.

John Ritchie and Silva Sizemore Ritchie had the following child:
