GASKINS - - Spencer Gaskins

I have many brick walls involving my GASKINS line!

First, I know almost nothing about Spencer and his wife. I believe he is not the same Spencer Gaskins who's family has been well documented in Northumberland County, Virginia. My research indicates that Spencer was from the Norfolk, Virginia area.

I also am intrigued by Spencer's son Enrico Gaskins, although this is not the son I descended from. (I am from the son William Spencer Gaskins) As you will see in the report below, Enrico became a judge in Bond County, Illinois. I am most interested in the history of his name as he named his son the same thing and there is some indication that his brother William also had a child of the same name.

In any case, I'm posting this report in the hope that someone...ANYONE...may have some answers (hints, tips, ideas, miracles, etc) for me.
