My name is Brenda and I am a 38 year old full time stay at home mom and housewife. Aren't I lucky? I have been married to Steve, the wonderful man who makes it possible for 19 years now and we have 2 beautiful children, JOE who is 15 and DAVE who is 11. Joe's just learning to drive and I can feel my hair turning GRAY!!

We live in the wonderful woods of Northern Minnesota, where I have lived all my life. When I say woods I mean woods, we are way out in the middle of nowhere since the nearest town is about 30 miles away. I love living in the country, most mornings I can wake up, look out my window, and watch a doe eating on my lawn.

I am a 4-H Volunteer Leader (and have been for about the last 10 years), I love to read, garden, fish, and walk in the woods. I am seriously addicted to genealogy, and last but not least the kids and I raise pedigreed rabbits. We raise Mini Lops, Dutch, and Netherland Dwarfs and right now we have about 5 dozen in the barn. I never seem to have enough time for all the things I want to do or try, but that's the case with most moms.

I originally set this page up as a genealogy page hoping that at some point someone might find a common link to their family or just maybe someone might be able to help me out with my family research. (Isn't that the hope of all genealogy web sites?) After getting my info online, I decided to try to help other researchers and started transcribing and putting online information that I had collected during my own research that others might be able to use whoever they were researching.
