APPLICATION FOR LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION STATE OF MISSOURI County of Scotland In the Probate Court of Scotland County Missouri IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE JOHN P. PEDIGO deceased, Edwin Pedigo, a son of said deceased says that, to the best of his knowledge and belief, the names of the heirs of the said John P. Pedigo deceased, and their places of residence, are respectively as follows: Adelia A. McKinney, who resides in the the County of Callaway, in the State of Missouri;
John J. Pedigo, who resides in the County of Scotland, in the State of Missouri;
Edwin W. Pedigo, who resides in the County of Scotland, in the State of Missouri;
Nettie N. Pedigo, who resides in the County of Scotland, in the State of Missouri;
Sarah E. Pedigo, who resides in the County of Scotland, in the State of Missouri; And also grandchildren being children of Martha Cowden deceased:
Clara B. Cowden, who resides in Chickasaw Native Indian Territory,
Gracie G. Cowden, residing in Chickasaw Native Indian Territory,
Madeua H. Cowden, residing in Chickasaw Native Indian Territory; And also Martha J. Pedigo widow of said deceased, who resides in the County of Scotland, in the State of Missouri; that the said John P. Pedigo died without a will; that he will make a perfect inventory of, and faithfully administer all the estate of the deceased, and pay the debts as far as the assets will extend and the law direct, and account for and pay all assets which shall come to his possession or knowledge. Sworn and subscribed to before me, this 21st day of November A.D. 1890 J Chutock (??) Judge of Probate Court signed Edwin Pedigo INVENTORY Inventory of all the Real and Personal Estate of John Pedigo deceased, late of Scotland County, Missouri, describing the quantity, situation and title of the Real Estate, the books and papers, the debts due to the said deceased, the names of the debtors, the dates of the contracts, the amount of interest due, and the rate of interest thereon, and all personal property of whatsoever character. Made by Edwin Pedigo Administrator of said deceased, and M.?.Stice and Jud H. Bradley, witnesses appointed to aid in making the same. Dated at Bible Grove, Mo., the 24 day of Nov 1890 REAL ESTATE 80 Acres consisting of the North ½ of SE ¼ of Section 10 Township 64 Range 13 and 20 Acres consisting of the South ½ of SW ¼ of the NW ¼ Section 10 Township 64 Range 13 Making one hundred acres for which there is warantee deeds. There is a mortgage of Seven dollars on the eighty and the 20 is clear. PERSONAL PROPERTY Four head of horses valued at $175.00 Nine head of cattle valued at $ 73.00 Twenty head of hogs valued at $ 37.00 Seven head of sheep valued at $ 28.00 Thirty Bushels of Wheat valued at $ 22.50 Wheat Fan valued at $ 12.00 Mowing Machine valued at $ 10.00 Two Horse Wagon valued at $ 10.00 Spring Wagon valued at $45.00 Double Shovel valued at $ 2.00 Hay Rake valued at $ 1.00 Harness valued at $ 1.00 Ten Acres of Corn valued at $ 65.00 Hay valued at $ 10.00 TOTAL VALUATION $521.50
