Old Glory

The Twenty-first Missouri Volunteer Infantry was formed on December 31, 1861, when the understrength First and Second Northeast Missouri Volunteers were merged. It was made of men primarily from the Missouri Counties of Scotland, Knox, Lewis, Schuyler, and Adair. The veterans forming the new regiment had gained combat experience suppressing Confederate insurgency in Northeastern Missouri, and many had fought victoriously on Aug. 5, 1861, at Athens, Missouri.

To help you in your search, I have added a search engine to my site. However, this will search my ENTIRE site (which also includes my census transcriptions) not just the muster rolls.

These transcriptions are my best attempt to transcribe what was listed on the
LDS film #1021082, Military Records - 21st Missouri Infantry, Co. A-K. If in doubt, please attempt to get the records and check for yourself.
