Jesse R. Williams Family
Jesse R. Williams, the son of George and Elizabeth was born between 1825 - 1828
based on census records in North Carolina, and he died after 1880 possibly in Cherokee County, Georgia.
He married Emeline, whose parents are unknown and who was born about 1841 in South Caroina,
about 1859 possibly in Harris County, Georgia. Jesse died between 1880 and 1900
probably in Georgia, Emeline died between 1910 and 1920 probably in Fulton County, Georgia,
their final resting place is unknown at this time.
Their children are
- Catherine Amanda Williams, b. abt 1859
- John Bedford Williams, b. 23 April 1861
- William Austin Williams, b.08 January 1863
- Eliza Jane Williams, b. 08 January 1863
- Hecha Williams, b. abt 1867
- Susan Isabel Williams, b. abt 1869
- Horvel F. Williams, b. abt 1872

I have found marriages records for at least three of the girls and maybe all four in the
book by Ted O. Brooke, "Fulton County, Georgia Marriage Records 1854-1902".
Hattie [Hecha] Williams married Willie Hight on 17 October 1886, recorded in Book F, page 226
Jane Williams married James M. DeLong on 3 June 1886, recorded in Book F, page 262
Amanda C. Williams married George F. Johnson on 25 April 1886, recorded in Book F, page 261
and I believe this is our Susan, but need more research to be sure
Susan Williams married Richard T. Holcombe on 28 February 1889, recorded in Book F, page 261
