Nancy Kizzia (Kizzah) Galloway was born 18 Jan 1859 in Fannin
County, GA and died between 1910 and 1913, she married Leander
Frank Cabe 31 Mar 1873 in Fannin. After Nancy's death, Leander married Sarah Barnes

Richard Ferlando Galloway was born 30 Aug 1870 in Fannin County,
GA and died 17 Oct 1914. He married 9 Sep 1888 in Bartow County,
GA, Eliza Jane Williams, who was born in April 1873 and died between 1910 - 1914.
After Jane's death, Richard became despondent, and one day went hunting, after
a while the children went looking for him, his daughter Sallie found him dead of
a gun shot wound - accident or suicide???. After her parents deaths, Gladys was
adopted (before 1920) by Emmanuel and Alice Cash Duncan. Richard and Jane had

Harbert Thomas "Harve" Galloway was born 4 Sep 1874 in Fannin County,
GA and died 7 Apr 1944 in Bartow County, GA. He married Savannah Dempsey about
1895. Savannah was born in June of 1880 and died 3 June 1915, the daughter of
Elvin John and Mary Louisa Hooper Dempsey. After Savannah's death Harve married
Rosa Lee Rhoads, who was born 27 February 1889 and died 11 October 1952, the daughter
of John A. and Nancy Roberts Rhoads. Harve and Savannah are buried in the
Old Cassville Cemetery, outside of Cartersville, GA. Their children are:

James worked in the cotton mill as a textile mechanic, he was a charter member of the Redmen and member of the Woodmen of the World. He died 12 Mar 1950 at home. Lizzie "Bell" spent her days caring for her children and her home, and when time permited she loved to go fishing or root new cuttings from her plants, she was a devoted Mother and homemaker, towards the end of her life she suffered with glaucoma and went blind before she died on 26 Nov 1965. Both are buried at Magnolia Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.

JAMES GALLOWAY, 73, EX-MECHANIC DIES
Funeral services for James M. Galloway, 73 of 234 Woodward Ave., S.E., who died
Sunday night at his residence following a long illness, will be held at 1:30pm
today in the Friendship Baptist Church. The Rev. B.C. Bates will officiate and
burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
A retired textile mechanic, Mr. Galloway was a charter member of the Redmen and a member of the Woodmen of the World. He was a native of Fannin County.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, H.M. Galloway, of Atlanta and J.W. Galloway, of Bath, S.C.; five daughters, Mrs. James F. Carr, Mrs. R.L. Crabtree, Mrs. Roy Nickolson and Mrs. J.N. La-Flamme, all of Atlanta, and Mrs. G.T. Peskopus of Fairburn; a brother F.O. Galloway of Chattanooga, 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
